Hickory, NC-- Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics and the WSVM radio stations, 1490 AM and 96.5 FM, along with the campus radio station, 99.3 WLRZ, have agreed to partner for the home and away coverage of the 2019 LR football season. Juju Phillips and Jack Huss will return as the voice of LR football over the radio waves.

WSVM is a locally owned and operated radio station operating in the Valdese, N.C. area and covering Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Lincoln, Cleveland, and Alexander areas.

The season opener, and year two of theÂ
Drew Cronic era, is set for Saturday, Sep. 7 at 6:00 p.m. against St. Augustine's Between the Bricks at Moretz Stadium.

The St. Augustine's game will be live streamed on Bears Sports Network with an audio call on the WSVM station and app, so fans will not miss a second of the call from Phillips and Huss.
