Hickory, N.C.- Luca Koelsch scored in the 4th minute to give the Bears an early lead and Alexander Langer's eight saves helped LR to a 4-0 win over Lees-McRae Sunday evening at Moretz Sports Complex. This win evens the Bears record at 1-1.

•  Freshman Luca Koelsch scored his first collegiate goal on the team's first shot of the match.
•  After scoring the first goal, Koelsch assisted on Victor Cascon and Javier Madrono goals in the first half, leading to a 3-0 lead at halftime.
•  Alexander Langer recorded his 4th career shutout and his first of the year.  His eight saves is the most in a shutout for his career.
•  Goncalo Garcia added his first goal of the year in the 61st minute to extend the lead to 4-0.
