GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team shot just 23.7 percent from the field in a 75-40 blowout loss at the hands of Limestone on Monday afternoon. The matchup was the first between the two programs with Limestone being a member of the South Atlantic Conference.

Olivia Nunn recorded a career-high 10 boards
- This 40 points scored marks the lowest LR output since scoring 39 against Lubbock Christian on Nov. 26, 2016
- After hitting 52.4 percent from long range in game one of the season, the Bears went just 4-for-23 from long range in game two

- Limestone jumped out of the gates and never looked back, taking a 15-7 advantage after the first quarter and holding LR to 14 first-half points
- The Bears were 5-for-30 from the field in the opening 20 minutes while Limestone went 14-for-29
- McCrary had 13 of her 16 points in the first half and was 3-for-3 from long range
- As a team, Limestone was 6-for-12 the 3-point line in the opening half
SECOND HALF:
- The Bears went ice cold in the third quarter, converting on just one field goal try in 15 attempts
- LR mustered just six third-quarter points but bounced back with a 20-point fourth-quarter
