CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team improved to 9-1 in South Atlantic Conference play with a 3-1 victory over Queens on Saturday.
Taylor Prall had 19 kills and 23 digs on the day and
Rachel Bewick added a game-high 28 digs as LR improved to 11-1 over their past 12 matches.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Prall has gone over 20 digs in three straight matches and is just shy of 1,000 for her career.
- LR won by scores of 25-22 in the first set, 25-21 in the third and 25-23 in the clincher. Queens took the second set 25-16.
- Ashley Hawkins had a strong all-around game with four kills and 17 digs to go with a pair of service aces.
- Helen Hamilton chipped in a double-double with 29 assists and 12 digs to go with a kill and a pair of aces.
- Emma Clark had four assisted blocks and had nine kills and Mackenzie Hulsey added a double-double of her own with 13 digs and 13 assists.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Prall is six digs away from 1,000 for her career.
- The Bears are 31-13 all-time against Queens.
- LR and Tusculum are the only teams in the conference with one loss in the league. Both Wingate and Anderson are sitting at three losses in third place.
