ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Football Players of the Week for games played during the seventh week of the 2021 season and Lenoir-Rhyne running back Dwayne McGee was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week.
 
McGee, a freshman from Kissimmee, Fla., tied a Lenoir-Rhyne record with five rushing touchdowns in the Bears' 59-0 win over Carson-Newman. He also ran for 200 yards on 19 carries and had two catches for 15 yards, giving him 215 yards of total offense. McGee is now one of just three players in Lenoir-Rhyne history with five touchdowns in a single game and is the first player to ever rush for five touchdowns against Carson-Newman.

McGee and the Bears return to action on Saturday when they host Limestone at 1 p.m.
