HICKORY, N.C. - After Wednesday's 2-0 loss to Catawba, the Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team bounced back in a big way, taking a 1-0 home win over first-place Queens. The Bears and Royals are now tied for 2nd in the SAC at 5-1. The lone Bears goal was a header in the 69th minute for the game winner.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The stats were strikingly even up and down the box score.
- The Bears out-shot Queens 17-16.
- Each keeper had four saves, with Grayson Cameron earning her fourth clean sheet of the year.Â
- LR held a slight edge in corner kicks, 8-6.
- LR committed one more foul than Queens (12 to 11).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Bears are now 3-0 this season in one-goal games.Â
- With the win, LR is now tied with Queens for 2nd place in the SAC, each a half game behind Catawba. Catawba and Queens meet on Oct. 20 in Charlotte.Â
