ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Offensive and Defensive Volleyball Players of the week for matches played during the ninth week of the 2021 season and Lenoir-Rhyne's Rachel Bewick was named Defensive Player of the Week. 
 
 A senior libero from Greenville N.C., Bewick helped the Bears to a 3-0 record this past weekend with sweeps over Lincoln Memorial, Catawba and Queens. Overall, she averaged 5.67 digs per set for 51 digs and 10 assists. Bewick is currently ranked second in the SAC for her digs per set with 5.71 and second for total digs with 491.

This is Bewick's third Defensive Player of the Week Honor this season.
