Dwayne McGee set the single-season program record for most rushing yards.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• LR wasted no time and jumped on Catawba with an 8-play, 75-yard drive that was capped by a
Kelin Parsons 23-yard touchdown grab.
•
Eric Jackson forced a fumble on Catawba's first drive and
Deondre Lester punched in a 13-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0 just 5:02 in.
• The scoring barrage would continue with a
Jordan Payne 22-yard TD catch with 6:14 left in the first quarter.
• Catawba's lone score of the day would come on a field goal on the first play of the second quarter.
• Rushing touchdowns from
Grayson Willingham, McGee and DT
Dan Louba, the latter on a 1-yard plunge on his first career offensive touch, gave LR a 42-3 lead at the break.
• McGee would add another touchdown in the second half and
Malakei Sumner recorded his first career TD catch to finish off the 8-TD day for the offense.

Preston Joseph had an interception for LR and Louba added 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
• McGee finished with 206 yards rushing on 26 carries and broke the single-season record for rushing yards which stood since 1994 when Leonard Davis had 1,559. With today's outburst, McGee finishes the regular season with 1,594 yards.
• Willingham went 20-for-29 for 246 yards and three touchdown passes.
• LR had 31 first downs, compared to just 12 from Catawba.
• The Bears outgained Catawba 567-252 on the afternoon.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Louba recorded a sack in the second quarter to extend LR's program-record streak of consecutive games with a sack to 53 straight.
• Willingham set the single-season mark for most yards of total offense and is set to break the single-season mark for completion percentage.
• The Bears have won six in a row and have outscored opponents 247-32 over the past five.
• LR has now won three straight over Catawba but trails the all-time series 49-47 with four games ending in a tie.
• The LR defense has given up just 25 points in the past five games as one TD in that stretch was on special teams.
• The Bears haven't lost a home regular-season game since Nov. 4, 2017.
• With eight more extra points,
Chase Allbaugh has run his NCAA DII-record streak to 160 straight made extra points.
