Box Score BOWIE, MD. – Lenoir-Rhyne fell to Bowie St. in the First Round of the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday on a chilly day. The Bears were held to a season-low 103 yards rushing.

Grayson Willingham's pass was deflected and intercepted and Tevin Singleton returned it 70 yards. It was the 8th defensive touchdown of the season for the BSU defense, tops in the nation.
• A fumble on the ensuing kickoff set Bowie St. up for a field goal to extend the lead to 17-3.
• The last drive of the first half resulted in an LR fumble at the five yard line and the period would end with the Bears trailing by two touchdowns.
• Johnson broke another long run, this one 48 yards, to put BSU up 24-3.
• A bomb from Willingham to
Jordan Payne pulled LR within two touchdowns at the end of the third quarter.
• However, a final Bowie State touchdown on a 9-play, 97-yard drive sealed the victory for the Bulldogs.
• In his final career start, Willingham threw for 343 yards, the second-most in a game this season. Willingham leaves as the LR record holder in almost every passing category in program history.

Dwayne McGee was held to 71 yards on 23 carries but finishes his year with a program-record 1,665 yards this year.
• LR committed a season-high four turnovers.
