Box Score WINGATE, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball team fell to Wingate 3-0 in the second leg of a two-day roadtrip. The Bulldogs avenged a loss to LR on Sept. 14 with today's sweep and draws even with Lenoir-Rhyne in the league standings.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Wingate came out hot and never looked back. The Bulldogs hit .330 as a team in the opening frame and finished the day with a .336 hitting percentage as a team. Wingate committed just eight errors on the day.
- Colette Romp led the Bears with 10 kills and hit .259, while Emma Clark paced LR with a .300 hitting percentage.
- Mackenzie Hulsey notched a double-double with 24 assists and 14 digs to go with two kills and a block.
- Rachel Bewick totaled 17 digs and had a pair of assists.
- Taylor Prall had nine kills and 12 digs for LR and Braelyn Faust finished with two blocks.
- Six different Bulldogs finished with at least five kills on the day led by 15 from Reese Blackley.
- Shanon Kasprak dished out 42 assists and added 18 digs and six kills to go along with a pair of blocks for Wingate.
- The hosts had 51 kills as a team compared to 30 from LR.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- LR hasn't won in Wingate since 2004.
- The loss breaks Lenoir-Rhyne's seven game winning streak.
- In each of LR's three conference losses this season, they have been swept.
- Today was the first time LR dropped a set since October 23.
- Thanks to Anderson's sweep of Tusculum, there is a four-way tie atop the SAC standings. If LR wins their remaining two games, they will clinch at least a share of the league title.
