Emily Harman scored 16 of her career-high 39 points in the 4th quarter as the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball Team returned home for the first time in 28 days to beat Anderson 64-57 Wednesday night in Shuford Gymnasium. The win was the 350th career win inside the Shu for the Bears.

- Bears have now won two straight games against Anderson, both in Hickory.
- This was the first game since February 9, 2019 that was decided by single digits between these teams.Â
- Harman's career-high before tonight's game was 33 against Anderson last year in the double overtime win.Â
- Harman is averaging 30.7Â points in three career games against Anderson.Â
- 39 points is the most points scored by a Bear since Amber Hanks score 40 on January 10, 2000.Â
FIRST HALF:
- The first quarter saw big runs for both teams. Anderson opened up a 4-0 lead then the Bears went on a 16-0 run. Brandi Hudson scored six points, and Tilda Lindstrom and Harmon put up five a piece during the run.
- But, the Trojans closed the quarter with a 12-0 run to tie it up. Shameka McNeil closed the run and quarter with a buzzer beater from deep to tie it at 16.Â
- The second quarter was back and forth with the game remaining a one-possession game the whole quarter. Harman scored 9 points in the quarter to close the half with 14 of the Bears 29 points.Â
- Anderson scored 22 of their 32 points from the paint in the half while the Bears added 18 points from the paint.Â
- Lindstrom had three steals in the first half (four for the game), which is a career-high. The freshman only had two steals for the season entering tonight.Â
SECOND HALF:
- A back and forth 3rd quarter only saw 27 total points, and the biggest lead was only four points for either team.Â
- After a McNeill basket for the Trojans to gave them a 48-42 with 9:16 left to go, the Bears went on a 8-0 run to retake the lead.Â
- A Blaikley Crooks jumper with 6:11 to go gave the Bears the 50-48 lead, which they kept the rest of the night.
- Harman took over in the 4th quarter, scoring 16 of her game-high 39 points in the quarter including six-for-six from the line in the last seven seconds to ice the game.Â
- After turning the ball over a season high 29 times on Saturday, the Bears only turned ball over 14 times on the night, which is their second-lowest total of the season.
ABOUT THE BEARS:
- Harman also added a team high eight rebounds and three assists on the night.Â
- Brandi Hudson was the only other Bears in double figures with 12 points.Â
- The Bears had a season-high 11 steals on the night.Â
NOTABLEÂ TROJANS:
- McNeill was the only Trojan in double figuers with 20 points but only shot 9-for-24 from the floor.
- Taylor Hair had eight points, eight rebounds and five assists for Anderson in 30 minutes of action.
- Anderson had six players with at least five rebounds with Hair leading the way.Â
