Hickory, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis beat Anderson at home 4-3 Friday afternoon.

Mauricio Hernandez started things off winning over Kush/Wilson 6-3.

Josh Lazenby would then secure the doubles point for LR defeating Moncada/Pudney 6-3 to put LR up (1-0).Â
In singles, Lazenby would fall to Kush 4-6, 1-6, which allowed the Trojans to tie up the match (1-1). Anderson would then take the lead with Smalley beating Hemmings 7-6, 6-3 to put them up (2-1).
Lewis Scott would then put LR back in the match tying it up (2-2) defeating Cabo 7-5, 6-7, 6-1. Atkinson then put LR up (3-2) beating Moncada 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. Hernandez then secured the victory for LR defeating Martinetti 7-5, 6-2.Â
The Bears improve their record to 8-4, 6-2 SAC and will be back in action on March 28 on the road against Methodist.
