HICKORY, N.C. – The No. 7 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team defeated No. 12 Limestone at home for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon and has now defeated the Saints three of the last four times head-to-head.

Toron Eccleston scored the game's opening goal, the Saints answered with a pair. The fast-moving first quarter would finish with a 6-4 LR advantage
• The Bears outscored Limestone 10-3 in the final three quarters and only allowed one goal in each of those three frames

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• With his six points, Moffat becomes just the seventh player in program history with 100 career points
• Lenoir-Rhyne is 3-0 for the first time since 2018 when they won their first four games
• This served as the South Atlantic Conference opener for the Bears
• LR improves to 49-12 all-time as a ranked team
• Lenoir-Rhyne now has 16 wins over ranked opponents in program history
• This is only the third nine-goal loss for Limestone in program history but two have come in back-to-back weeks
