Hickory, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Tennis team fell to Tusculum 6-1 in their regular season finale Sunday afternoon.

In doubles, LR was able to secure the doubles point by taking two out of the three match from Tusculum. Rhodri Atkinson/ Josh Lazenby continue their dominance as duo winning 6-1 and improving their doubles record to a perfect 13-0. Joel Hemmings/Maurcio Hernandez closed the doubles point winning 6-3.

In singles, Patrik Alvestrand led things off but fell to Bonancia 1-6, 2-6 making the score (1-1). Hernandez also battled but came up short against Almeida 3-6, 3-6 giving the Pioneers the lead (2-1). The Pioneer would not let go of their lead winning the next four match to win (6-1).

 The Bears fall to 10-6 overall and 8-3 SAC play and will be the 4-seed in the SAC conference tournament April 15 as they play Anderson.
