Dahlberg Earns CoSIDA Academic All-American Honor

AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Kylie Dahlberg has been named a Third Team Academic All-American for Women's Track and Field / Cross Country as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Dahlberg becomes the fourth CoSIDA Academic All-American in Women's Track and Field / Cross Country  history, joining Whitney Heavner (2006), Kate Griewishch (2011, 2012) and Haylea Salamon (2016, 2017).

On top of earning Academic All-American status, Dahlberg was named the South Atlantic Conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year in Women's Track and Field earlier this summer.

Dahlberg owns a 3.97 GPA in Biology and is a four-time member of the President's List at Lenoir-Rhyne. As a senior, Dahlberg was First Team All-Conference in the Indoor Mile and broke the school record for 3k Steeplechase by 50 seconds. She was the conference champion in the 1500m and won SAC Track Athlete of the Week three times. Dahlberg won All-Region in both the Steeplechase and 1500m.

The Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Division II Academic All-America® teams' program.
