ROCK HILL, S.C.  – The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Football Players of the Week for games played during the fourth week of the 2021 season and Lenoir-Rhyne defensive tackle Dan Louba was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Louba, a senior from Harrisburg, N.C., led the No. 17 Bears to a 31-16 win over Mars Hill last week. He tied a Lenoir-Rhyne record with four sacks, including three in the first half of action. He also knocked down two passes, recovered a fumble, and had six tackles. He finished the game with 3.5 tackles for a loss of 21 yards.

The Bears return to action on Saturday at UVA Wise at 2 p.m.
