SALISBURY, N.C. -- Lenoir-Rhyne won each set 25-18 to secure the sweep of Catawba and also sweep the three-game season series from Catawba as
Colette Romp had a record night. With the South Atlantic Conference going to a divisional format, each team plays one opponent three times. The Bears and Catawba met three times with all three going LR's way by 3-0 finals.

- The Bears were firing on all cylinders, especially in the second set. LR finished the frame with a .441 hitting percentage and just one error. For the match, LR outhit Catawba .290 to .062.
- LR had a 43-26 advantage in kills and a 7-2 edge in service aces.
- Colette Romp was on another level in the match, finishing with a game-high 12 kills and hitting a career-best .706.
- Braelyn Faust hit .533 and had four solo blocks in the contest.
