ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the sixth week of the 2022 season and Lenoir-Rhyne right-side hitter Colette Romp was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Romp, a senior from Simpsonville, S.C., led the Bears to a 2-1 record last week with wins over conference foes Catawba and Mars Hill. She was a force on offense as she had a .321 hitting percentage with 44 kills, including a season-high 20 kills in the Bears' 3-1 win. Romp also added six blocks to her stat totals for the week and she averaged 4 kills per set and 4.3 points per set for the week.
