HICKORY, N.C. - In the last home game of the season, the No. 6 Queens Royals used a huge first half to cruise to a 27-point victory over Lenoir-Rhyne. Prior to the game, LR celebrated Senior Night and honored seniors

STATS OF THE GAME:
- The Royals were scorching in the first half, shooting 55.8 percent from the field and knocking down seven three-pointers
- Thanks to the hot shooting, Queens ran out to a 52-25 halftime lead and never looked back
- Quan McCluney led the Royals with 18 points and went 5-of-10 from 3-point land
- Kenny Dye was superb, going for 16 points, seven assists and five rebounds and Jamari Smith had 16 points and five boards
- LR was paced by 21 points from reigning SAC Player of the Week T.J. Nesmith who missed just two shots from the field

Nas Tyson was the only other Bear in double figures with 10 points, six rebounds and six assists
- LR was only 1-of-15 from long range for the game
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- LR had defeated Queens at least one time in each of the past three seasons but the Royals pulled out the season sweep today
- LR sits in a seventh-place tie in the league standings with one game to play
- A win on Saturday would clinch a spot in the SAC Tournament
- LR can't go any higher than the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament and would draw either LMU or Queens
