Suzy Smith scored five goals and
Jolan Morey had a goal and six assists as the Bears defeated Tusculum in South Atlantic Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Lenoir-Rhyne rattled off the first six goals of the game and never looked back in the win.
- Smith opened the scoring with a goal 1:10 into the game and was one of four different players to score a goal in the first quarter.

Chloe Christensen also scored a pair in the first quarter and Morey had three assists in the first 15 minutes.
- After Tusculum scored their first goal of the game 49 seconds into the second quarter,
Tess Grimley started a 3-0 run for LR.

Cambrie Cochran had a pair of assists in the third quarter as LR pushed the lead to 11-3.
- Smith scored her fifth goal at the 12:52 mark of the fourth quarter as LR led 12-5. Emily Foxall ended the scoring with the Bears' 13th goal with 54 seconds to play.

Cassie Lafler and
Rianna Keough each had five ground balls for LR and Lafler and
Liz Black caused three turnovers.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Sieben's 10 saves mark the fifth time she has recorded double figures in saves this year.
- The six assists from Morey tied the third-most in a single game in program history.
- LR is 7-0 all-time against Tusculum.
