HICKORY, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball team dropped a three setter to Lander in non-conference action on Tuesday evening inside Shuford Arena. The Bearcats ran their winning streak to 17 in a row.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Emmaleigh Allen led the Bears with 14 kills on the night and posted a .159 hitting percentage to go with a pair of aces and eight digs.
- Taylor Osborne had seven kills for LR and Cheyenne Clonch netted six.
- Aasia McNeill had a team-best 12 digs.
- The Bears played tough in the first two sets, falling by scores of 25-23 and 25-20 but ran out of steam in the third set with a 25-11 defeat.
- Lander was led by 10 kills from Olivia Dow and 30 assists and 10 digs from Lauren Dow.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This was the final non-conference contest of the year for LR. The Bears finish 6-5 against non-SAC foes.
- Christina Aguayo registered her 1,000th career kill for Lander in the third set.
- The Bears drop to 7-2 at home and see their seven-game home winning streak snapped.
- This is the fourth 3-0 loss of the year for LR.
