CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The win streak for the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Tennis Team is snapped at two as the Bears suffered a 5-2 loss to Charleston on Sunday. 

Despite all the Bears' singles losses came in straight sets, there were a few that prevailed including Natalie Lutz at No. 4 singles. After dropping the opening set, the senior was able to pull off the second set and win a third-set tiebreaker. 

Evelin Menyhart also earned a victory at No. 6 singles with a straight set result, with the senior taking both sets by the score of 7-5. 

There were a few matches in doubles that the Bears were able to keep up with the Golden Eagles, but both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles ended with a 6-4 victory. 

The women's tennis squad will return to Hickory, N.C. on Thursday, Feb. 23 when they start a five-match home stretch against Lees-McRae at 1 p.m.
