HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The No. 6 Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team closed out the regular season with a convincing 13-1 victory at Coker on Saturday night. The one goal allowed by Lenoir-Rhyne is the least since Mars Hill scored just once on April 13, 2019. The Bears have one shutout to their ledger, an 8-0 win over Lincoln Memorial in February of 2015.

STATS OF THE GAME
- Toron Eccleston put the Bears on the board just over five minutes into the contest to key a 6-0 scoring run for LR to open the contest.
- Eccleston netted the first three goals for LR and four of the first five with Will Canata adding the other.
- With the Bears up 5-0, Kyle Hatcher sent LR into the break with a 6-0 lead.
- Coker's first goal came with 6:31 left in the third quarter to make it 6-1 but it was all LR from there on. Landon Parker and Evan Voss went back-to-back to close the third quarter and make it 8-1.
- Myles Moffat, Bryce Reece, Kolson Huff and Riley Seay all found the back of the net in the fourth quarter as the lead swelled to 12-1.
- Reece would close out the scoring with his second of the night to make it 13-1 and gave LR the final seven goals unanswered.
- Eccleston finished with four goals and Voss had a goal and a game-high two assists.
- Matthew Mancini had nine ground balls and Rob Pensabene made eigth saves to earn the victory.

- The Bears are now 10-2 all-time against the Cobras and have won eight straight.
- Of Lenoir-Rhyne's 12 wins in the regular season, 11 came by at least nine goals.
- LR outscored SAC opponents 157-66 in the regular season.

- The Bears are now 66-8 all-time in SAC play.
UP NEXT: The Bears will now turn their attention toward defending the SAC Tournament title. LR earned a bye to the SAC Semifinals and the No. 2 seed in the tournament. LR will take on the winner of Newberry and Lincoln Memorial in the semis on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Matthews Sportsplex in Matthews, N.C.
