WINGATE, N.C. - The winless streak for the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Soccer Team extended to five matches on Saturday with a 2-0 defeat to Wingate.
It was another strong opening half for the Bears who competed with the Bulldogs for 45 minutes, however, the success could not translate over into the other side of the break.
The Bulldogs scored a couple of second half goals, while securing the match with an 86th minute winner by Kosi Mafela.
With the result, the Bears have only been able to secure one point in their first three road matches of the season.
