Hickory, N.C.-- Returning to the Shu after a five-game road trip, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Basketball team defeated UVA Wise 76-68 to move to 5-1 in SAC play. Emily Harman and Tilda Lindstrom each had a double-double as Harman had 21 points and 12 assists while Lindstrom added 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Bears won six games in their last seven contests.

FIRST HALF:
- Both teams came out of the locker room hot as each team shot over 55% from the floor. However, it was the Bears leading 27-15 after ten minutes.
- The Cavaliers continued their hot shooting in the second quarter to cut the lead to 38-35 at halftime.
- Lindstrom led the Bears with 10 points in the first half as Crooks added 9 points.
- Bears hammered the offensive boards in the first half as LR had a 8-2 advantage leading to 11 second chance points.
SECOND HALF:
- The Cavaliers tied it at 43-43 with 7:01 left in the third quarter but Harman hit a jump shot to take a lead right back.
- The rest of the third quarter was played mostly within one possession as the Bears took a 53-52 lead into the 4th quarter.
- LR scored 10 of the first 14 points of the 4th quarter to storm out to a seven point lead with 5:58 left.
- Wise could not get any closer then five as the Bears won their fifth straight SAC contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Harman's double-double was her first of the year and the 12 assists were a career high.
- Lindstrom tied a career high with ten rebounds as it was Lindstrom's second double-double of the year.
- Crooks added 18 points and a career high seven steals. Crooks had more steals then UVA-Wise had as a team (5).
- Bears shot over .500 from long range for the third time this season as LR went 9-17 from the three-point line.
