HICKORY, N.C. -- After the No. 9 UIndy Greyhounds scored the first two goals of the game, No. 1 LR rattled off 10 unanswered and dominated the top 10 matchup Between the Bricks on Sunday afternoon. Eight different players scored a goal for LR, led by three goals from
Evan Voss.
Ryan Duncan notched two goals and three assists for a game-high five points. LR's defense allowed just nine total shots in the first half and won 16 of the 25 face offs.

STATS OF THE GAME
- UIndy scored twice to open the game, both coming off the stick of Owain Braddock, to take the 2-0 edge at the 7:33 mark of the first quarter.
- The Bears would respond with a Cameron Magalotti strike to end a scoreless drought of 8:18 and break the seal for the LR offense. LR would score two more times in the next 1:34 and got back-to-back goals from Evan Voss to close out the first quarter up 5-2.
- It was more of the same in the second quarter with four different players scoring a goal as LR went up 9-2 into the break.
- The run would extend to 10-0 as Jarrett Huff rocketed a shot past the Greyhound goalie with 11:37 left in the third quarter.
- UIndy would finally score after being held off the board for over 26 minutes of game action. The Greyhounds would go on a quick 3-0 spurt to make it 10-5 before Duncan had the answer.
- Tommy Aguilar and Kyle Hatcher would score in a 35 second span, the latter coming with four seconds left in the third quarter, as LR went up 13-6.
- Each team netted one in the fourth quarter as the Bears doubled up the visitors.
- Victor Powell dominated the defensive end with four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Rob Pensabene made 11 saves in the win.
- Matthew Mancini won 16 of his 25 face offs and grabbed seven ground balls. Thomas Farlow had five GBs.
- Dillon (1g, 2a), Huff (2g, 1a) and Bender (2g, 1a) each finished with three points.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- This was the third meeting between the two programs with all three coming in Hickory. The Bears improve to 2-1 in the series as this was the first game that wasn't decided by one goal.
- This is the fourth straight win at home for LR who improves to 79-30 all-time at Moretz Stadium.
- Today is the 84th time that LR has won by six or more goals in program history.
- LR is 135-30 all-time when they score at least 10 goals.
- This is the 95th time LR has held an opponent in single digits in the scoring column.
