Wingate, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse team lost their SAC opener as the #15 ranked Wingate Bulldogs scored the first seven goals on their way to a 16-4 win over the Bears.
Ellie Campbell scored two of the four goals for the Bears as LR scored a single goal in each quarter.
Sally Friesen made a career high 18 saves in the contest. 18 saves by Friesen is 4th most in a single game by a Bear in program history.
