Hickory, N.C.-- Head Coach Shena Hollar earned her 1000th career win in the Bears sweep of Mars Hill. The Bears defeated the Lions 8-0 in game one for the 999th career win then the Bears defeated Mars Hill 6-0 for Hollar's 1000th career win. Hollar in her 25th season here in Hickory won her 955th game as a Bear and her 1000th career win as Hollar's becomes the 8th active coach in NCAA Division II to reach the 1,000 win milestone.

- Wilson threw the complete game shutout in the circle allowing four hits and striking out seven.

- Bears move to 14-2 when they hit at least two homeruns in a game.
