Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

No. 2 Men's Lacrosse Powers Past No. 10 Newberry

HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Lacrosse Team scored six goals in the fourth quarter to grab another Top 10 victory in its 2024 campaign, as the Bears defeated Newberry, 15-10.

In a contest that went back and forth, Newberry had the strong start after leading 5-2 over the Bears through the first quarter of play.

However, LR was able to get themselves back into the mix after outscoring the Wolves, 4-1 in the second quarter.

With the two sides knotted at six through the first half and nine through the first three quarters, LR saved its best for last by tallying six goals to its name and gave up only a lone goal to the Wolves.

As LR has gone through a tough conference stretch with taking on three Top 10 sides, the Bears remain second in the SAC standings with only three games to go in league play.
