Belmont, N.C.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse team dropped a non-conference tilt Wednesday night at Belmont Abbey 14-4.
Anneleise Meyer scored a pair of goals while
Sally Friesen made six saves in goal for the Bears. LR will return to conference play with road games at Tusculum and Catawba.

- Chloe Christensen got the Bears on the board to tie it at 1-1
- Belmont Abbey then scored the next six goals before Meyer and Alexa Burghardt got the Bears within four at halftime.
- However Belmont Abbey came out hot after the break and scored the next seven goals before Meyer's second goal ended the scoring.
- Madison Brugger added an assist for LR while MaKenna Finnley and Meyer had three ground balls.
- Friesen made six saves in goal for the Bears.
