Hunter Glaze joins Lenoir-Rhyne as Assistant Director of the Bears Club and Annual Giving

HICKORY, NC - Hunter Glaze has been named the Assistant Director of the Bears Club and Annual Giving. He joins LR after spending two years as a Developmental and Sales Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

"We are excited ot have Hunter join the Bear Family here in Hickory," said Justin Hay, Deputy AD for External Relations/Director of the Bears Club. "Hunter brings with him a passion for college athletics and the student-athlete experience. He has already hit the ground running and I look forward to his energy and passion elevating the Bears Club and our member experience."

His responsibilities will include stewarding, cultivating, and identifying Bears Club members to enhance the donor experience and grow the Bears Club membership. In addition to those tasks, he provides additional support in fundraising events, donation/gift requests and management, and strategic engagement with athletics supporters. 

"I am thrilled to begin my journey as the Assistant Director of the Bears Club," states Glaze. "I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of the Lenoir-Rhyne family and the greater Hickory community. I would also like to give a special thanks to Justin Hay and Kim Pate for this opportunity to advance my career in college athletics and chance to chase my passion for serving student-athletes and all our wonderful supporters. Go Bears!"

While at Arkansas at Little Rock he assisted in all revenue generation efforts, including ticket sales, fundraising, and corporate partnerships. He led all sales efforts fo the 2023-24 men's and women's basketball season and developed new strategic ways to engage their teams with supporters, fans, and prospective stakeholders, both physically and virtually. 

Glaze graduated with his Bachelors in Sport Management from Texas Tech in 2022, and earned his Master of Science - Sport Management from Arkansas at Little Rock in 2024. 

Hunter is originally from McKinney, Texas, and now resides in Hickory.
