Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer team played to an 0-0 draw against visiting Coker on Saturday evening.
Riley Miller made five saves in goal to stop the Cobras from getting on the board.
The Bears put up eleven shots on goal but Coker's Rhyan Parkin made eleven saves to keep the game scoreless.
This was the first 0-0 tie for the Bears since at trip to Mount Olive on September 2, 2023.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The first half saw plenty of action as the two goalies combined for nine saves in the first 45 minutes.
- Lenoir-Rhyne's best chance came in the 59th minute when Katie Durham had a point blank shot in front of the goal, but Coker's Parkin made a diving save to keep the score 0-0.
- Bears defense only allowed four shots in the second half and one shot on goal which Miller stopped.
- LR had a 9-2 advantage on corner kicks and were given three yellow cards in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The tie snaps the Bears's thirteen game win streak against Coker.
- This was the first 0-0 tie at home since November 13th, 2011, against Columbus State in the NCAA First Round.
- Riley Miller is now four saves away from 100 career saves.
UP NEXT: The Bears will stay home to host Mars Hill next Wednesday evening. Mars Hill is 1-7 (0-5 SAC) and has not played since an October 4th defeat against Tusculum. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM from Hickory.
