HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Basketball Bash is officially 24 hours away. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow night in Shuford Arena, this is a FREE, family-friendly event celebrating the start of the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons.

This year, the Bears Basketball Bash will bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the Hickory community for an energetic night of entertainment as well as a sneak preview of the 2025-26 LR basketball programs.

Fans will enjoy:

• Student-Athlete Introductions for both the men's and women's programs
• 3-Point Shootout and dunk session.
• Performances by the LR Spirit Team and Band
• Fan Contests and Prizes, including a half court shot to win a "55 TV

Doors open at 6pm, with the event beginning at 6:30pm. Admission is FREE, and the first 300 LR Students will receive a limited-edition Bears Basketball Bash T-shirt.

Fans are encouraged to wear cardinal and black and come ready to make noise as the Bears hit the floor for the first time this season.
