HICKORY, N.C. - Shuford Arena and the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University is set to play host to the PBC/SAC Women's Basketball Challenge. Lenoir-Rhyne, USC Aiken, Lander, and Carson-Newman will play in four total games this weekend, showcasing come of the best talent the Peach Belt and South Atlantic Conferences have to offer.
Tickets for this event can be purchased ahead of time at
lrbears.com/tickets. Free entry is available on Saturday to anyone with a Lenoir-Rhyne football ticket, and on Sunday to anyone who brings two perishable canned goods.

Saturday, Nov. 15 - Carson-Newman vs. Lander - 6:00 p.m.

These games are the first of the
Emry Tsitouris era at Lenoir-Rhyne, as she joined the team this summer following a successful three-year tenure at Mars Hill. The Bears, ranked fifth in the SAC preseason poll, are looking to win their first SAC regular season since 2013-14 and their second SAC tournament title in four years.
