Elyseia Brown came to play on Wednesday, scoring a career high 18 points to propel the Bears to a 74-64 win at Wingate.
Brown was joined in double figures by
Abigail Brown (16) and
Ralee Bare (11). Bare, playing in her first game this season, tallied six steals to go along with her 11 points and five assists.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- Tied at 8-8, an Elysia Brown three sparked a 7-2 run to close the opening quarter.
- Wingate went 9-21 in the second quarter to outscore the Bears 20-10 and take a 30-25 lead into the break.
- Down 49-39 with four minutes left in the third the Bears caught fire, hitting five of their final six shots of the frame to tie things at 53 heading into the fourth.
- Lauren Arnold put the Bears up 59-57 with 6:28 left in the game and Lenoir-Rhyne never relinquished the lead.
- The Bears outscored the Bulldogs 21-11 in the fourth to secure the big conference victory.
