Gulf Shores, Ala.-- The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball team fell to Saint Leo 3-0 to conclude their opening weekend at the Gulf Shores Invitational. All three runs for the Lions came in the 6th innings as the Bears fall to 0-4 on the season.
Madison Primm continues her strong start to the season, registering two of the Bears five hits in the game.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- Bears best chance to score was in the first when they had runners on second and third with two outs but could not get the clutch two out hit.
- LR struggled to put the ball in play as the Bears had 14 of the 21 outs via strikeouts.
- Saint Leo's Haleigh Thomas allowed just five singles in the complete game shutout with 14 strikeouts.
- Madison Wilson took the loss in the circle, striking out nine and allowing just three runs on five hits.

- Saint Leo is now 4-1 lifetime against the Bears.
