Hartsville, S.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Lacrosse team erupts with a 22-5 win at Coker on Wednesday afternoon. The win gives the Bears their first SAC win of the season.
Chloe Christensen and Cassie Richardson each scored four goals while
Alexa Burghardt had three goals and three assists for six points on the afternoon. The 22 goals were the most since the season opener of 2024 when the Bears scored 23 against Southern Wesleyan.

STATS OF THE GAME
- Richarson had a huge first quarter as Richardson had three of the Bears's first four goals and added an assist as LR was up 7-2 after the first period.
- Kirra Olson and Jessica Mikesell each scored back to back goals to open the second period as LR shut out Coker in the quarter as the Bears took a 14-2 lead into halftime.
- Coker did not score their third goal until the fourth quarter as LR added four goals in each the third and fourth quarter.
- Christensen scored a goal in each of the four quarters as Christensen had a season-high four goals today.
- LR won the draw control 20 to 10 and went 15 for 15 in clears.
- Bears had nine caused turnover including a pair from Marissa Evans and Jayden Wheeler.
- Sally Friesen made a pair of saves as LR held Coker to just ten shots.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Bears won six straight games against Coker including averaging 20 goals a game in the last three contest.
- Chloe Christensen now sits just three points shy of 100 for her career.
- Christensen also got her 75th career ground ball today.
- Ellie Campbell also had a hat-trick on the day.
NEXT UP: The Bears will continue their road trip next Wednesday when they travel to UVA-Wise. The Cavs boast a record of 4-5 record and a 1-2 record in the SAC. The game is schedule for a 3:00 PM start.
