WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Track & Field team took second at this year's SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Both Melody Jones and Alexis Brown were named Co-Track Athletes of the Meet, while Paris Vaughan was named the SAC Indoor Women's Track & Field Coach of the Year.

Notching first place finishes in their respective events were Alexis Brown (60m, 200m), Sharonda Priester (400m, 4x400m), Melody Jones (60m Hurdles), Jani Day (4x400m), Kennedy McDonald (4x400m), and Damyja Ortiz (4x400m). 

In total the Bears had 28 top-10 finishes, 14 top-five finishes, 11 top-three finishes, and five event wins. For the full results of the meet, click HERE.
