STORY OF THE GAME
- The Bears led 1-0 and 2-1 in the first period thanks to goals from Morgan Madish and Nate Serrano.
- Anderson answered by scoring four of the next five goals to take a 5-3 lead with 9:29 left in the first half.
- Keith Galway and Jack Walter scored goals to keep things close, but the Trojans led 8-6 at the half.
- The third quarter was one to forget, as Anderson outscored Lenoir-Rhyne 6-2 in the frame.
- Jack Mulligan scored late in the fourth, but it was too little, too late as the Bears fell by six.
STATS OF THE GAME
- Morgan Madish led with four points, tallying two goals and two assists.
- Nate Serrano's two goals were his most in a game since his hat trick against Tusculum in April of last year.
BEYOND THE STATS
- This was Anderson's first win over the Bears as they were previously 0-4.
- LR hadn't played a true road game since February 8th at Barton.
