HICKORY, NC - Lenoir-Rhyne had nine first-place finishers over the course of a very successful Southside Power & Fitness Invitational weekend.
Seven individuals had NCAA DII provisional marks, including
Jani Day (400m),
Miranda Marr (Hep), and
Mathilde Etienne (Hep), who each hit it for the first time this season.
Caitlyn Christie put on a show in her events, winning both the 800 and 1500 meter races with two new personal bests. Picking up her first career victory was
Zanetta Udo-Obong in the 100 meters. She also set a new persona best time of 24.52 in the 200.
Jani Day had herself a meet, winning setting personal bests in both the 400 meters (55.37) and 200 meters (24.39).
