HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne men's tennis team opened the Spring portion season on Saturday with a 5-2 victory over Francis Marion. After dropping the doubles point, the Bears rebounded and won five of the six singles matches to secure their first win of the season.

The Bears will be back on the court next Friday as they are set to travel to Wilson, N.C., to face off against Barton College. The Bulldogs are 0-3 on the year and recently fell 6-1 at Campbell on Monday. Their lone result against NCAA DII competition is a 7-0 loss at Lander on January 30. First serve is at 2:00 p.m.
