HICKORY, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne men's basketball flexed their muscles on Wednesday night, defeating Coker 107-72. The Bears have scored at least 100 points in six game this year, tied for the fourth most in a season in Lenoir-Rhyne history.

Brent Owen now has 50 wins in just 62 games coached in Hickory.
Blessin Kimble led the Bears with an efficient 23 point performance, going 9-14 from the field and finishing with seven boards.
Tyler Burraston made six threes and finished with 18 points.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- The Bears saw themselves down 9-8 before an Akili Evans three put them up for good.
- That three sparked a 16-1 run from the Bears, putting them up 24-10 at the 10:55 mark of the first half.
- Lenoir-Rhyne kept extending the lead and a Junior Hodnett three at the buzzer game them a 52-30 lead at the break.
- Tyler Burraston opened the second half with a three, one of his six on the day.
- The Bears hit the century mark on a three from Chris Crudup.
- Lenoir-Rhyne's lead never got below 23 in the second half.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Joining Kimble and Burraston in double figures was Conrad Luczynski (13), Junior Hodnett (11), and Akili Evans (11).
- Luczynski went 6-6 from the field and tallied three blocks.
- Amarion Savage led the team with six assists.
- The Bears got 45 points from their bench, compared to just nine from Coker.
- Lenoir-Rhyne went 37-71 (52.1%) from the field, 14-26 (53.8%) from three, and 19-26 (73.1%) from the free throw line.
- Coker was just 26-64 (40.6%) from the field, 4-20 (20%) from three, and 16-17 (94.1%) from the free throw line.

- Lenoir-Rhyne leads the all-time series 19-6 and have won the last four.
- Conrad Luczynski has a block in every game this season and is just five blocks away from breaking the school record of 76.
- Tyler Burraston's 84 threes rank him third all-time and place him 27 away from Will Perry's program record of 101.
- The Bears joined Anderson, Casron-Newman, Catawba, Lincoln Memorial, and UVA Wise in the first alphabetical NCAA Regional Rankings.
UP NEXT: Lenoir-Rhyne will honor their seniors on Saturday against Tusculum. The Pioneers are 10-15 and fell 83-81 to UVA Wise earlier tonight. The Bears defeated the Pioneers 87-82 in Greeneville on January 17. Tip-off for Saturday's contest is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
