DAVIDSON/RALEIGH, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Track & Field programs split this past weekend, taking part in both the Raleigh and Davidson Relays.
Sharonda Priester highlighted the weekend by setting a new school record in the 400m hurdles, running a time of 59.23. That time ranks third in Division II this year and would have made her the eighth fastest qualifier in last year's field. Joining Priester in the record books is freshman
Saoirse McNulty, who went 10:35.75 to break the outdoor 3000m record.
Havyn Spain, the third place finisher in the 200 at indoor nationals, opened his outdoor campaign with a 21.16 in that same event, taking 12th at the Raleigh Relays.
Corey Baker and
Malachi Carter each ran their way into the Lenoir-Rhyne record books with times of 10.60 and 10.61 in the 100m dash.
