Baseball takes game two, final game of series halted due to darkness

MARS HILL, N.C.--  The Lenoir-Rhyne Baseball team rebounded for a 9-1 victory in the first game of today's doubleheader. Mackenzie Wainwright went deep twice while Nathan Kidder added a solo home run. Hugo Tafoya allowed just two hits while striking out a season-high ten in 5 1/3 innings.

Since the first game today had a lengthy rain delay in the sixth inning, the final game of the series was halted in the sixth inning with the score tied at five. Seth Christmas and Sylas Boris hit home runs for the Bears in the night cap.
