Lenoir-Rhyne set to host Anderson in SAC Women's Lacrosse semi-finals

HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's lacrosse team finished their regular season as the No. 2 team in the SAC, earning them a bye in the first round and a right to host the conference semi-finals. There they will face off against Anderson, who defeated Tusculum 17-1 to book their ticket to Hickory.

Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29.

These teams met once this year, a 10-9 win by the Bears between the bricks. Lenoir-Rhyne, who placed eight individuals on the all-conference team, is looking for their first trip to the championship since 2019. The Bears went into Anderson and defeated the Trojans 14-13 in overtime during the quarterfinal round of last year's conference tournament.

All tickets can be purchased at lrbears.com/tickets, with any LR student who presents their student ID getting in for free.

The winner of tomorrow's contest will travel to the Matthews Sportspex in Matthews, N.C., to compete in the SAC championship game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
