Track & Field closes regular season at LR Last Chance

HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Track & Field team closed out the main portion of their season on Saturday - Sunday, competing in their own Last Chance Meet.

On the women's side, Sharonda Priester set a new personal best in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.03, winning that event. Zenobia Hall set a big personal best in the triple jump, leaping 11.73m (38-6.00). 

For the men, Corey Baker set a new wind-legal personal best in the 100m with a time of 10.57 in the prelims. He followed that up with a new PB in the 200m, clocking a time of 21.82 seconds. Liam Sutton joined Baker in the wind-legal personal best club, clocking a time of 14.19 seconds in the 110m hurdles.

The qualifiers for the NCAA DII National Championships will be announced on Tuesday, May 12, via a press release on ncaa.com.
