HICKORY, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne dominated nearly every category against Anderson on Wednesday, leading the Trojans in shots (53-25), shots-on-goal (32-13), face-offs (13-7), grounds balls (37-21), and turnovers (15-9). What the Bears didn't account for was a superhuman performance from Anderson Goalkeeper Adin Laughlin, who finished the game with a new school record 25 saves and helped lead his team to a 9-7 victory.
With the win Anderson now advances to Sunday's national semi-final at Tampa.
Morgan Madish led the Bears with three goals while
Donovan Powell finished with two.
