CLEVELAND, TN - Junior Eve Neild put together a strong opening round at the NCAA South Regional on Monday, carding a 75 (+3) to tie for 18th out of 96 golfers. 

After a three over 39 on the front nine, Neild came back with an even par 36 on the back. She birdied holes 14 and 15 to keep herself in contention. 

Due to Wednesday weather, the field will tee off at an 8:30 shotgun start tomorrow and play the final two rounds. The top six teams and top two individuals will advance to the national championships.
