HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's lacrosse and women's golf teams have placed a combined six athletes on the CSC Academic All-District team. The At Large team consists of sports that are not sponsored by a majority of collegiate athletic departments across the country, including golf, lacrosse, wrestling, water polo, bowling, skiing, ice hockey, and field hockey.
Kirra Olson and
Delaney Williams made up the women's lacrosse honorees while
Danielle Bekker,
Charlotte Colley,
Eve Neild, and
Jaya Wilkinson were the women's golf honorees.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, honor top student-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics across all collegiate divisions. To qualify, athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and either have started in 66% or participated in 90% of their games and/or matches during the season.
Due to on-field performance,
Kirra Olson and
Eve Neild have been selected for Academic All-America consideration. The women's At Large All-America team will be announced at noon on Tuesday, July 7th.
