ANCHORAGE, AK - The Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball team dropped the finale of the Seawolf Invitational on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 to No. 16 Alaska Fairbanks.
Emmaleigh Allen led the team with eight kills. The Bears had a .088 hitting percentage, their lowest of the tournament.

STORY OF THE MATCH:
- A back-and-forth battle in set one saw LR take a late 19-15 lead after a Morgan Blankenship kill.
- The Nanooks rallied, going on a 10-4 run to take the set.
- Lenoir-Rhyne saw themselves down early in the second set and were unable to claw their way back.
- The Bears kept things close early in the third, down just 15-13, but Fairbanks went on a 5-1 run to pull away and win the match.

- This was the first meeting all-time between these two teams.
- After four games, Emmaleigh Allen leads the team in kills (49), Alicia Barbarito in assists (86), Avery Meide in digs (77), and Averie Dale in blocks (22).
- Allen was named to the Seawolf Invitational All-Tournament team.
